My intention as a holistic counsellor is

a deep exhale, mindful awareness, and connection to our sacred and cyclical nature as human beings.

I have a gentle, human-centred approach that honours your pace and your story.
I draw from my background in psychology and counselling, as well as tools from mindfulness, spiritual practice and nervous system awareness.
I come from a trauma-informed approach, only going as far as you are ready, by honouring where you are at right now. Our internal mechanisms are always trying to heal and resolve blocks that hold us back.
The key to transformation is in creating the optimal conditions for change to happen from within.
The truth is that all of our patterns of coping are our nervous system and body trying to protect us. It’s part of being alive. We unconsciously resist positive change to keep ourselves safe. This is why safety is so essential for meaningful change. Safety comes from being seen in our fullness and met with compassion and attuned presence. We can learn to give all those things to ourselves but sometimes it helps to receive them from a supportive other. This is where the gold of counselling lies.
